Disclaimer | Bali Freight Forwarder

This Bali freight forwarder disclaimer covers everything published on balifreightforwarder.com. Every price, transit band, and regulatory note on this site is an indicative, date-stamped estimate — not a contract, not legal advice, and not a guarantee. Final decisions on rates, transit times, duties, and clearance rest with carriers and government authorities, never with us.

Read this page before you request a quote. If anything published here conflicts with what a carrier, insurer, or customs office tells you today, their current rules win. Ours were accurate on the day we pressed publish; freight moves faster than websites do.

What does “indicative” mean on this site?

It means the figure was true when written and carries its date on its back. Sea freight ex-Bali reprices with lane demand, bunker fuel, equipment availability, and season. Air freight ex-Ngurah Rai reprices with capacity and chargeable-weight ratios. A number quoted in January can be wrong by April, which is why we stamp figures “as of 2026” and refresh them on review cycles rather than pretending they are permanent.

Treat everything on this site through the table below.

What you read here How to treat it What moves it
LCL rates quoted per cubic metre Indicative, dated at publication Lane demand, fuel surcharges, co-load space, season
Air freight per-kg chargeable weight Indicative, dated Volumetric ratios, capacity ex-Denpasar, fuel
The roughly 13 cbm FCL-vs-LCL breakpoint (as of 2026) A rule of thumb, not a promise Carrier pricing, destination charges
Cargo insurance at about 2% of declared value Market convention as of 2026 Underwriter, commodity, route
Transit bands (Australia commonly 4-8 weeks door-to-door in 2026 commentary) A planning range, never a commitment Vessel schedules, transshipment, inspection holds
Regulatory notes Accurate only at their publication date New rules from Indonesian and destination authorities

Every pricing section on this site closes with the same reminder, and this page is where that reminder lives in full: estimates are indicative, and final decisions rest with carriers and authorities.

Is anything here legal, tax, or customs advice?

No. Nothing on balifreightforwarder.com is legal advice, tax advice, or customs advice, and reading it creates no adviser-client relationship. We publish general information for exporters shipping furniture, teak, stone carvings, textiles, and handicrafts out of Bali. We are not a law firm, not tax consultants, and not your attorney of record at any customs desk.

The pace of regulatory change is the reason this matters. Indonesia’s customs authority moved export submissions to electronic filing under DGCE Regulation 22/2024, with transitional ambiguities documented through 2025 and 2026. The United States suspended de minimis treatment for Indonesia in August 2025, so every commercial shipment to the US now attracts duties and full customs processing. EU timber-legality and deforestation-free due-diligence rules tighten through 2027 for wood and rattan. HS 2028 nomenclature revisions will force HS-code re-verification across the board. Any of those paragraphs could be outdated the week after we review them.

Before you ship, verify current rules with the Indonesian Directorate General of Customs and Excise, the customs authority at destination, or a licensed customs broker. That verification step is yours, not ours.

Who decides transit times, duties, and clearance?

Carriers, airlines, terminals, and government authorities do. We arrange, coordinate, and chase; we do not command vessels or overrule customs officers. Accordingly, Bali Freight Forwarder accepts no liability for decisions taken by third parties, including:

  • Carrier decisions — rolled cargo, blank sailings, schedule changes, and space allocation on sea and air lanes
  • Authority decisions — physical inspections, valuation queries, duty and tax assessments, permit or fumigation demands at origin or destination
  • Force events — weather, port congestion, strikes, and equipment shortages anywhere along a routing that can touch Bali, Java, and Singapore before your cargo leaves Asia
  • Shipper inputs — inaccurate cargo descriptions, undeclared restricted goods, or missing documents supplied to us in good faith

To the maximum extent permitted by Indonesian law, Bali Freight Forwarder and its publisher are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from such third-party decisions. Cargo insurance, commonly charged at about 2% of declared goods value as of 2026, exists because carriage risk is real. We recommend it on every shipment and say so on every quote.

How do quotes and bookings actually work here?

Honestly, and in writing. These are the working terms behind every estimate we send:

  1. A quote is a dated estimate, valid as indicated on its face, and is not a contract of carriage.
  2. A booking exists only when confirmed in writing — by email or WhatsApp — with a shipment reference.
  3. If dimensions, weight, commodity, packing, or destination change, the estimate is recalculated. No estimate survives a changed shipment.
  4. Pass-through charges set by third parties — Destination Delivery Charges per cbm and AMS or ACI filing fees on US and Canada lanes, wood and stone endorsements, phytosanitary certificates, special fumigation — are billed as incurred.
  5. Documents you supply, including the commercial invoice and packing list, must be accurate. Penalties flowing from misdeclaration sit with the shipper.
  6. Some cargo cannot move the way you first asked. Certain Ethylene Oxide-treated goods, for example, cannot ship LCL and must go FCL. Where rules force a change, we tell you before we book.

How is your personal data handled under UU PDP and GDPR?

When you contact us through the enquiry form, WhatsApp, or email, we receive your name, email address, destination, and cargo details. We process that data for one purpose: preparing your estimate and replying to you.

As an Indonesian publisher, we operate under Indonesia’s Law 27/2022 on Personal Data Protection (UU PDP). Under it you may:

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Ask us to delete your data once no active shipment or legal retention duty requires keeping it
  • Withdraw consent to further contact at any time

Visitors browsing from the EU or EEA should know this site is operated from Indonesia, not the EU; as a matter of policy we extend the access, correction, and deletion courtesies familiar from the GDPR. We do not sell enquiry data. We share it only with the carriers, packers, and partners needed to price or move your cargo.

To exercise any of these rights, message +62 811-3941-4563 on WhatsApp or write to bd@juaraholding.com with the subject line “Data request”.

Who publishes this site, and how do you reach a person?

Bali Freight Forwarder is part of Juara Holding Group — an Indonesian group operating from Bali across Indonesia since 2015. Editorial responsibility sits with the group’s business development desk in Bali.

Questions about this disclaimer, a published figure, or a data request all go to the same two routes: WhatsApp +62 811-3941-4563 or bd@juaraholding.com. The enquiry form on this site reaches the same desk.

This disclaimer was last reviewed in July 2026. We may update it without prior notice; the version on this page is always the current one. If you want a live, dated estimate instead of a published indication, send your cargo details — that estimate will carry its own date, and its own reminder that carriers and authorities decide the rest.
