Bali Freight Forwarder (balifreightforwarder.com), operated by Juara Holding Group, collects only the details you choose to send us — your name, email, destination, and cargo description — and uses them for one purpose: preparing shipping estimates and coordinating your freight with vetted licensed partners. We never sell your data. This policy, last updated 23 July 2026, explains exactly how that works.
Who Is Responsible for Your Data?
The publisher and data controller for this website is Juara Holding Group — an Indonesian group operating from Bali across Indonesia since 2015. Bali Freight Forwarder is the group’s freight-forwarding desk for FCL and LCL sea freight, air cargo, customs clearance, and door-to-door shipments out of Bali.
Under Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law, Undang-Undang No. 27 of 2022 (UU PDP), Juara Holding Group is the controller of any personal data processed through this site. For every privacy question, request, or complaint, one address handles it all: bd@juaraholding.com.
If you are visiting from the European Economic Area or the UK, we also apply the core principles of the GDPR to your data — lawful basis, data minimisation, and your access and erasure rights — even though our operations sit in Indonesia.
What Data Do We Collect, and Where Does It Come From?
We only collect what you actively give us plus basic website statistics. There is no account system, no login, and no payment processing on this site.
| Source | Data collected | Why we need it |
|---|---|---|
| Quote form | Name, email, destination country, cargo type and details, your message | To calculate an indicative estimate for your lane |
| WhatsApp (+62 811-3941-4563) | Phone number, chat messages, photos of cargo or documents you send | To clarify dimensions, pickup point, and timing |
| Email (bd@juaraholding.com) | Email address and correspondence | To reply and keep a record of what was agreed |
| Cookies and analytics | Pages visited, device and browser type, approximate region | To see which guides help visitors and fix broken pages |
One firm request: never send passport scans, bank account numbers, or card details through the quote form or an unsolicited chat. We do not ask for them at the inquiry stage. Identity documents are only ever needed later for specific customs paperwork, and we will tell you exactly when and why before requesting anything.
How Do We Use Your Data?
Solely to quote and coordinate freight. In practice that means:
- Preparing a dated, indicative estimate for your shipment — for example, LCL priced per cubic metre or air freight per chargeable kilogram, as of the quote date
- Coordinating pickup, packing, trucking, and export handling with vetted licensed partners on your lane
- Preparing export documents that legally require shipper and consignee details — the commercial invoice and packing list for every export, a Bill of Lading for sea, an Air Waybill for air
- Answering your follow-up questions and updating you on shipment progress
- Meeting legal obligations, including Indonesia’s electronic export submissions to the customs authority under DGCE Regulation 22/2024
Our lawful bases under UU PDP — mirrored in GDPR terms for EEA visitors — are your consent when you submit an inquiry, contract performance once you book a shipment, and compliance with Indonesian customs and tax law.
We do not use your data for automated profiling, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote. If we ever launch a newsletter, it will be strictly opt-in.
Do We Share or Sell Your Data?
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data. No exceptions, no “trusted advertising partners.”
Data is shared only where a shipment cannot move without it:
- Vetted logistics partners: the trucking company carrying your cargo from Bali to Surabaya, consolidators, packing crews, customs brokers, carriers, and the destination agent who delivers to your door. Each receives only what their leg of the job requires.
- Authorities: Indonesian customs receives shipper data through electronic export filings; destination authorities receive manifest data, such as AMS filings for the United States or ACI filings for Canada.
- Service providers: website hosting and analytics vendors that keep this site running, bound to process data only on our instructions.
International transfers are inherent to freight forwarding: if your cargo ships from Benoa or trucks to Surabaya and sails to Melbourne, the destination agent in Australia necessarily receives the consignee’s name and address. We limit every transfer to what that specific shipment requires.
What About Cookies and Analytics?
This site uses a small set of essential cookies to function and analytics cookies to count visits, see which pages get read, and identify errors. Analytics data reaches us in aggregated form — we look at trends, not individuals.
We do not run third-party advertising trackers, and we do not build cross-site profiles. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will keep working, though a few conveniences may reset between visits.
What Are Your Rights Over Your Data?
UU PDP grants Indonesian data subjects a full set of rights, and GDPR grants EEA visitors close equivalents. Both are honoured here through the same channel.
| Your right | What it means | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Access | Ask what data we hold about you | Email bd@juaraholding.com |
| Correction | Fix inaccurate or outdated details | Email or WhatsApp us the correction |
| Deletion | Ask us to erase your data | Email with “data deletion request” |
| Withdraw consent | Stop processing based on consent | One email; quoting stops immediately |
| Object | Challenge a specific use of your data | Explain your objection by email |
| Complain | Escalate to the data protection authority | We will point you to the correct body |
We aim to acknowledge every request within three working days. Deletion requests are honoured except where Indonesian law obliges us to keep records — export documentation and accounting files carry statutory retention periods that override erasure for completed shipments.
If a data breach ever affects you, UU PDP requires written notification to affected data subjects and the authority within 3×24 hours, and we hold ourselves to that standard.
How Long Do We Keep Your Data?
As of 2026, our retention practice is:
- Inquiries that never become shipments: deleted or anonymised within 24 months of last contact
- Booked shipments: retained for up to 10 years, matching Indonesian bookkeeping and customs document retention obligations
- Analytics data: held in aggregated form, with no personal identifiers attached
- WhatsApp threads: kept while relevant to an active or recent shipment, then removed in periodic clean-ups
Does This Policy Change Your Booking Terms?
No — and one honest boundary belongs here. Estimates we prepare from your data are indicative and dated, not contractual: rates move with lanes, fuel, and season. Transit times and customs outcomes are never guaranteed; final decisions rest with carriers and authorities. Cargo insurance, commonly charged at about 2% of declared goods value per published Bali forwarder terms in 2026, is arranged via licensed providers. This privacy policy governs data only.
We may update this policy as UU PDP implementing regulations mature — transitional ambiguities in Indonesia’s electronic customs framework are documented through 2025-2026 — and the “last updated” date at the top will always tell you the current version.
